Color sensor V1 (rgb)

Hello i have two colorsensor V1 (3 leds) 64892
The not working on my bricks, V1.? Firmware 1.29 and 1.31
What can be the problem, are the sensor brokken?
Please help

How have you got tested the sensors?
Have you got the LEGO-Firmware or the Enhanced firmware other any other firmware?
Do other sensors work on this NXT?

The brick work well,
i have import the color sensor block (V1 and V2) and insert in a simpel programm.
The sensor read values (if i hold it for a light source ) but the is no generarted ligh

Maybe you could post the code you used here, in a zip-file

There are a couple color sensors available, one from LEGO, and one from HiTechinic. They do NOT use the same software.

Sounds like you have the one from LEGO (with three lights). I don't think the software (block) is available for that sensor as a separate download. It should be included in the software you got with your NXT 2.0 kit where you got the sensor.

Ok its a lego sensor type 64892
I do not have the NXT2.0 vesion sofware, im working with Lego Mindstoms educatie V2.0 (2008-10-20-1215)
Maybe that is the problem ?
Is NXT V2.0 update available on internet ? Or a block for this sensor?

I would have thought the Education version 2.0 would include everything the standard version has, but just in case I'm wrong you can get a standard download here -

thanks for the link, a get it from the lego support site, and download the cd.
I like the 2.0 edu version, can i import some block or so, or is the a new edu. version?
I have test the sensors with the firmware 1.31 and the working.
