lego rotary dip switch

hi,

do you think that a cross axle can fit im the hole of this rotaty dipswitch, i came accross it randomly and

ive yet to think of something to use it for, any ideas

i was thinking of using hex because of the number and letter layout to assighn a certain hex value that will change something such as motor speed or something.

I have my doubts. They're usually mean for philips head screwdrivers, not LEGO axles :)
