Where can we get ALL of those NXT-G blocks from NXTasy?

Post by jojoguy14 »

Remember NXTasy had a repository of NXT-G blocks? Can we still get those now? I specifically want the array blocks from this porgram:

Does anyone know where I can get that/those block(s)?

Thanks!

Had a search but could not find them. Anyway, it seems they depended on a tool which probably also sank with NXTASY.

Came across this though, don't know if it will help. Not downloadable blocks but shows what is in them.

Just remembered Team Hassenplug had some stuff and there is a 'modify user settings program there which might be the one you will need if you ever find the blocks you are looking for.

PS Changed the Brickshelf url to point at the main page where you can see each .png file separately.

You will find what you are looking for if you browse around here: http://www.mindboards.net/NXTG . It's a dump of all of the blocks on NXTasy and some other places. They're not labelled or anything so you might end up having to download a few to get what you want, but it's all there.

That's weird, because I still can't find those array blocks! :-(.

Don't know if it will help, but there is an explanatory video on youtube.

With that and the block diagrams available at http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=191310 you might be able to re-create them.

There are some diagrams here :- http://www.teamhassenplug.org/NXT/NXT-GCodeIndex.html

And some of the blocks from the nxtasy repository can still be downloaded from here :-
http://web.archive.org/web/200803130847 ... -g-blocks/

I'm sure there is somewhere else but I just can't seem to find it!

PS I've looked at NXTLog before but only noticed tonight the word 'myblock' in the cloud tag. Somewhere else to look for ideas.
