Here are some pictures I just took, of all the parts that make up an NXT. If there are any pictures that you want the full size version of, let me know, and I can upload them. I also have many other pictures, in case this isn't enough. As of writing this, the NXT is still taken apart, so I can get other pictures if you want (I'll probably put it back together this weekend).

Re: Lego NXT - pictures of the insides
I have an NXT brick that I always bring with me to LEGO events. I've taken all the screws out so I can lay out all the different parts on the table (about 4 parts that came apart easily). Sometimes people will try to put it together again, it's rather amusing to watch. I had one 12 year old boy take 10 minutes trying to figure it out and another 8 year old girl took about 30 seconds. Not hard to tell which one is going to be the engineer when they grow up.
Edit: your brick has the word "vier" on it, that's "4" in Dutch/German. Why is that?

Re: Lego NXT - pictures of the insides
That's a really cool thing to do!
I named it Vier, intentionally meaning 4. I named my first one "Uno" (Spanish for "1"), my second one "Deux" (French for "2"), my third one "Three" (English for "3", duh!), my fourth one "Vier" (German for "4", as you said). I don't have labels for my other two, but one of them I named "Tetrix", because I have ROBOTC FW on it (and I got it with my Tetrix set), and the other one I haven't really named yet.
