Help needed to build a Nxt - 9797 Brick/block dispenser

Post by samuelwoon »

Dear Sir,

I am a 10 year old boy in Singapore and I have a project assigned to me by my instructor.

I am supposed to make a brick/block dispenser but I have no idea how to do it. Other than that, I am not allowed to make a single motor vertical dispenser and a double motor vertical dispenser(something that uses 2 motors facing each other).

Do you know of any way to build it? The block that we are dispensing is about the size of a duplo lego block.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Best Regards,
Samuel Woon

Hi, welcome to the forums

From this I gather you are not allowed to make something like this:

Maybe creative thinking would help. Using an elastic band, you could make a "brick launcher" :D

Hi Tim,

Yes, you are right. I'm am not allowed to build a dispenser like what you have drawn.

Thanks for your help, we have solved the problem by building an inclined narrrow block holder with a motorized wheel that dispenses the blocks.

Cheerios!

Hiya Samuel,

Perhaps you'd like to post a picture of your project?
