can't make the bleutooth to connect

Post by alanlabes »

I can't make the bleutooth to connect to the NXT brick... I press scan at the NXT software and it finds the XT brick. I press connect, it asks for a password and I press ok with the standard 1234 password. It them takes som time trying to connect, but the brick seems not to recieve the request. It them gives up reporting that there was a failure in the passord confirmation, error -142005.

However, if I try to connect from Windows, the brick receves the request and asks for passwod confirmation, and if Itry to connect from the brick it works too. The bluetooh indicator a the NXT brick doesn't change to <>, tough.

Can anyone help please?

thanks!

Try
  1. Restart your PC and the NXT
  2. Unpair your PC(delete the "contact" in NXT-G and unpair it in Windows)
  3. Delete the "contact" on the NXT
  4. Restart again
  5. Check whether other bluetooth stuff works with your PC
  6. Check the drivers on your PC

Do you have the latest Fantom driver?

Download page here

And a tutorial here
