NXTcam NXC API

Post by webstorms »

Hello,

Does anybody know where I can find a complete list of all NXC API for the NXTcam with short examples? I know there is something like "get blob" or so. Could some write a short descriptive example using this command?

Thanks a lot! :)

I tried these 1 year ago (they are still the same) but the blob recognition and the example programs are very bad and only of very little use for normal mortals.

I'd suggest using ROBOTC and taking advantage of my driver suite and the numerous examples that this specific driver comes with but that wouldn't be very useful so I won't. Oh wait.

Perhaps sending them a mail to explain that you'd like additional examples would help.

I tried it several times but didn't get anything useful. They said more or less it's not developed for beginners and starters and hobby programmers and they didn't think so far about providing specific help and code examples for those people (as I am one).

I suggested they might write and provide some little programs for simple models like a red-ball-follower and a colored-wall-avoider or a mobile bot with a gripping hand as a colored-ball-sorter or a room explorer which tries to find several different colored spots on the walls or the ground - but nothing happend or came along .
