SF auto log in

Post by dimasterooo »

I was just wondering if anybody else has problems with staying logged into MindBOARDS at all. Even though I tell it to remember me, it logs me off after I close my browser. Any idea what the problem is? (I'm using chrome)

thanks,

I also use Chrome. I don't have any issues, unless I go to use a different computer. As long as the computer I am at is the last one I was signed in on, it's still signed in.

Same here. in FF4,4beta,5.0a1,2 6.0a1 it has some problems and sometimes says XSRF attempt detected and sometimes is logged in to SF.net but not the forum?

I actually doubt that.
Other forums work fine with auto log in, only MB doesn't - and it often hangs up until all cookies have been erased.

Probably has to do with how SF handles the authentication and usermapping to the forum's users. I use https://sourceforge.net/apps/phpbb/mindboards/ as the URL to access the forums and the only time I need to re-authenticate is when I change my IP address (like when I take my laptop to work). I am using FireFox 4.x on Windows 7.

If you want to stay signed in on any computer you can get a portable vesion of Crome that you install on your USB from http://portableapps.com

I use that same URL as well, and I've still got problems

It's not something I can fix for you, unfortunately. You could submit a ticket to the SF people and perhaps they can give you some tips.
