subscribe to forums

Hello, I'm new here (hehe), I was wondering if there is a way to stay tuned to new posts?... I see in my User Control Panel that I can manage subscription but i cannot figure out how to subscribe to new topics or forums sections. (beside the Notify me when a reply is posted check box found in Options below a post)

Way down at the bottom there is a "subscribe" link.

It took me quite a while to find it. There is an entry in the FAQ section as well which talks about subscriptions vs bookmarks.

Is there any possibility to get text content of post in notification emails?

I don't know but I suspect that you can't. Was that possible with the old nxtasy forums? I never tried the subscription option there.

No (to my knowledge), but that was one reason why I was not there so often...

Yes it was possible with the old Nxtasy... I will miss this feature.

With phpBB2, there was plug-in to synchronise with a NNTP server, but it was not ported to phpBB3. Anyway, I do not know if you can add plugin to the sourceforge installation.
