Missing msvcr71.dll

Just installed the latest version of Brixc.

When I try to run it, WIN 7 tells me that it cannot start because msvcr71.dll is missing.

Tried uninstalling first but get the same message.

The program does start, despite the message, but I don't know if it will run correctly without the dll.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Found this site http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-ti ... windows-7/ and downloaded the files.

All is sweetness & light again.

Presumably the latest version requires dlls not included as standard with WIN 7 (I had msvcr70.dll).

I am sorry about that faux pas on my part. I forgot that the hid.dll required for EV3 communication was built with runtime dependencies on the msvc runtime dlls. I will see about building it statically.

Apparently the .net 1.1 redistributable download includes this dll.

I just uploaded a new test release zip (20130803) which includes an hidapi.dll which should not have any dependencies on C runtime DLLs.
