RCX / NXT PIR Sensor V2 *KICKSTARTER DONE*

I have started a new build of some PIR sensors for Mindstorms and have some available if anyone is interested in adding a "human" detector to their Mindstorms projects.

I'm not sure what the rules are here about posting $ items, so just posting the spec's (mssg me if interested);

With these improvements the sensor now has a more rugged construction, can be modified to fit your needs (placed in other enclosures), is easily connected to Mindstorms cables/RCX/NXT, and is FASTER! With a reset time of less than 1 second, your creations can now quickly react to people and do other tasks.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Detecting Range = 7m (23 feet)
Detecting Angle = almost 180 degrees (front side of sensor)
Standby current = less than 50uA (very low power)
Active current = less than 3mA when active (ON and person detected)
Working Temperature = -15degC to 70degC
Trigger Delay = less than 1 second
Dimensions = 1.8 inches x 1.25 inches x 1.25 inches
(or in Lego terms : 6 studs x 4 studs x 3 bricks)

This is a custom built, low power PIR sensor for use in Lego Mindstorms Robotics projects. It consists of an off-the-shelf PIR module, standard interface circuit, Lego blocks enclosure, and Lego electric contacts to be connected to your Mindstorms RCX or NXT brick. Each unit has been built, tested and ready for use!

First, I really appreciate you being considerate of the forum rules.

This type of thing is consistent with what people here would want, so I have a couple questions.
1) I assume you're selling this, right?
2) How much?
3) Does the NXT version have an NXT cable, or would someone also need to buy an adapter?
4) Is there a place (web site) where we can find out more, like ordering information?

I try to respect community considerations. These are definitely not going to make me rich.

My main drive is to get people that may be interested in them to use them. I really dig these things, so I'm hoping others may have use for them too.
Looks like PIR technology has gotten better over the years too. I bought a kit in the mid 90's and never built it. Ugly circuit. I've read lots of forums where people have wanted to use PIR sensors but decided against them, due to instability, sensitivity issues, and long reset times. But these are pretty snappy and have been working well. I can picture lots of applications where you would want to sense people.
I have been toying with 2 for binocular IR vision.

To answer your questions;
1) Yes.
2) I sold my prototypes (on Ebay) for $20. At that price and time I put into them, I did not make any money. I was playing around with different build techniques (like machining contact pins...eeek!). With the PCB cost on this one (saving time and making it more robust) and other improvements, I upped it to $29.99 for immediate release. I only made a few, so will see how they sell.
3) For use with NXT you will need your own cable. I think you get 3 for a few bucks from Lego Education, not sure about making your own....I haven't tried that yet.
