Hi,
I've been programming with NXT-G programming for five years and competing in first lego league and I want to learn more about computer programming and languages. Would RobotC or Lejos be the next logical step for me, seeing as i'm already familiar with the nxt? Also, are these languages hard to learn?

Not to say one is better than the others, but NXC is also a very popular option.
If you understand NXT-G very well, then most likely you understand program logic. Program layout and logic is one of the hardest things to figure out when programming, and it's essentially the same regardless of the language. The main difference (as far as programming) between the languages is the syntax and the API.
I personally prefer NXC above all others that I have tried (which aren't many), but ROBOTC is also great. NXC is open-source and totally free. ROBOTC is not open-source or free, but there is a 30 day free trial available.
I recommend you try (at minimum) NXC and ROBOTC. It's really mostly about personal preference.
