LEGO NXT Power Supply Adapter

Post by prolegorobotics »

Hello everyone!

I am working on creating a power supply adapter plate for the NXT to replace the battery cover and provide power to the NXT through a 9VDC wall adapter similar to the design at http://www.philohome.com/nxtsupply/nxtsupply.htm. I am planning on selling the adapter plate and power supply for around $15.00~$20.00 and I was wondering how many people would be interested in buying a product like this.

Here is a link to the concept photo of the design:

Thanks for your input.

I'm sorry, but I'd have to say no. I can make the exact same thing for much less myself. If you were, however, to make a cheaper version of the LEGO rechargeable NXT battery pack, then we'll talk.

just for DC power supply: actually not.
But if you made one with a box to put in additional rechargeable battery cells (maybe 7-8x 1,2V = 8,4-9,6V) which could be recharged by this adapter automatically:

definitely YES!
