Conveyor belt from LEGO

Post by marcel1234 »

Friends!

I would like to build a conveyor belt from LEGO: about 5 meters long, with elevation and bends. I would like to carry small objects about 4 cm in diameter on it.

I am looking for something similar to:

Who can tell me which parts of LEGO I need to make such a conveyor belt?

Thank you!

Well, you could use either the old or the new Technic tread links, using gears with the old, and large and small sprockets with the new, to drive the belts. Elevation would be easy. The hard part is turning. The only easy way to have a turn in the belt that I can think of at the moment is to have it banked, like a roller coaster track.
