Re: BricxCC anyone?
Glad you got it working. We didn't mean to offend by suggesting Google and all that, it just seemed like the thing to suggest. It is weird though that you had problems with stuff not loading for a while, but that's the problem with the "cloud" I guess.

Re: BricxCC anyone?
Yeah, that works :P. Do you like the NXC book, haydenstudios? I have it on my Amazon wishlist but I just haven't really needed it. Now that I'm using NXC instead of NXT-G though, I think I need a fairly complete guide to NXC and BricxCC so that I "get" it all. Which reminds me, I still nee...

Or you could just Google
. There's a great tutorial by our very own doc-helmut on MiBo [viewtopic.php?f=3&t=49].

Re: NCX: ArrayMax, ArrayMin: unexpected values
What Mr. Hansen here really needs to invest in is a box full of USB drives; it's a great way of keeping track of different versions of software!

Re: NXT Speaker Failure
It's hard to accurately measure a speaker, just because of the way they work. However, you can usually just measure the impedance of the speaker and round up to the nearest type of speaker. In my case, I measured ~14.5 ohms, so it's probably a 16 ohm speaker and given it's size, probably not any lar...

Re: New mindsensors sensor speculations
One of the new Mindsensors Android "Top Secret" thingamajiggers, of course. However, I was going to go on vacation so I couldn't play with it. I can assure it is there and I have a real photo of it :) When I am back from vacation they will send me one. Shame on you Xander, taking care of t...

Re: New mindsensors sensor speculations
I'm pretty for sure certain ( ;) ) that it will have something to do with the newish Android Open Accessory Dev Kit, or something like it. I can't really guess how Mindsensors would combine Mindstorms and the Open Accessory stuff, but I'm fairly excited as I'm probably going to be getting some form ...

Re: Creating gripper / lifter with one engine
I remembered that I had created a simple and somewhat ugly lifter/gripper a while back. It didn't have a lot of lifting power, but it could lift empty aluminum cans and little cardboard boxes and after all, it was meant to be a simple build. I found some pictures on my mess of a hard drive, but I do...

Re: FW: bad rand generator: distribution/prevalences/periodicity
The love of an afternoon (or three) spent "wasting" time? :ugeek: Mr. Hansen doesn't have an afternoon or three to waste time :). He spends his free time programming 'till the wee hours of the morning, trying to fix real bugs. He works for no pay, knowing that although he could give up an...
