Re: Creating gripper / lifter with one engine
The only thing I can think of is the use of clutch gears, to allow the grip, then with the same engine the continued revolutions of the motor for the next movement, be it lift or pull, or what have you.

Re: NeXT Commander 0.4.1.0 released
So from what I read from afanofosc has said, we should not copy or even try to improve on a current idea. Doesnt that go against what Lego and Mindstorms are all about. So I am not supposed to try and rebuild on another persons model or idea, or even improve on his build. Sounds communistic to me.

Re: [NXT-G] Battery Block question
Here is the program. Take a look at the way it supplies data. What I am trying to do is limit the motor to 6V. How do I set the Battery Level block. It is using a comparison but outputing a number. I have checked it using the display block with #totext.

[NXT-G] Battery Block question
The battery block has a compare value setting and a numerical output. What does the compare < or > do? I have block of code that reads [Battery Level] (< 6000mV) into a [Math] (600000 / [Battery Level]) with output to [Move] (CB forward with power value from [Math]. In the [Math], the 600000 is 100%...

Turntables, I should have caught that one. My brain is mush right now. My wife dragged me out to a list of 5 garage sales.

Re: MoCo Pan unit for time lapse photography
D3100 with 18-55 lens + battery grip + 2 batteries is just a hair over 1kg. That is alot of weight for lego to support.
