Robot Arm using EV3 Home kit

Post by cpapple123 »

I thought I would quickly share my Robot Arm inspired by the EV3 Education EV3_Arm. The home kit is missing the Turn table and a few other key parts in the gripper so I built around it. This is using only EV3 Home parts and nothing from my other Mindstorms or Technic kits. There are improvements that could be made to the Gripper Gear jumping because I just installed new batteries the motors have "MORE POWER". I also have some new ideas for the turn table only to stay true to the EV3 Only parts idea I'm keeping a full disassemble is required to get to parts I want to use.

Enjoy:

This model is awesome! Nice job. Do you think you could make an LDD model of this? I am sure other people will like this. You should post it on the MINDSTORMS EV3 Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/legomindstorms/
