Start-Up Project: EV3 C driver lib for NXT-Multiplexers

I would like to initiate a Start-Up Project for a EV3 C library (header file) for NXT-compatible muxers to make them work with the EV3 (for Linux executables) like, e.g.:
- Mindsensors RX-MotorMux
- Mindsensors NXT-SensorMux
- Hitechnic SensorMux
- PCF8574-based 8xdigital Muxers
- multiple Lego- and 3rd-party NXT-compatible i2c devices at 1 port chained by port splitters
- Max127-based MightyBoard

The lib driver design should include support for remote access like I once described in a Mindboards Forums' thread:

My proposal would be:
Anyone who would like to join this project pays a fee of maybe 10 EUR (13 US$) and who-ever is willing to (EV3-C driver suite by Xander?^^) provides a suitable library if a certain desirable amount of donations are received.

I would propose to put together this whole mentioned bundle of those drivers.

Any interest of anyone?
What would be a suitable donations amount?
Any further ideas?
