software options??

Post by mmacleodbrown »

OK, I wanted to use my R-Pi with some sort of breadboard to control a NXT robot and sensors, but I think that might be the wrong way to go?
My original aim was to learn programming and a bit of electronics at the same time which I thought the above would do, but it looks like that might be quite difficult and maybe not the best way.
So I started looking at RobotC and the Arduino board as a substitute, but with the announcement of NXT v3 and the ARM based CPU, is this wise - will robotC work with ARM based architecture?

It has been announced by LEGO Ed that ROBOTC will be supported on the EV3 platform by sometime in Fall 2013 (no firm date).
