Beginner Seeking Guidance

Post by ben-feingold »

Greetings,

I recently started a new job as the IT Coordinator of a small school. Most of the technology here is run-of-the-mill, but I've had no experience with their Lego Mindstorm kits until now. I was hoping you all could help me with several questions:

1. Is there a resource/website you can direct me to so I can get up to speed of the tech side of troubleshooting NXT?
2. What is the latest version of the NXT software for Mac OS? All our systems are 10.6 or higher. I believe we are running the educational version of "LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT 2.1"
3. Are there any known incompatibilities? ie. Flash? Shockwave? etc?

I just want to make sure that things run smoothly when the kids get to work on their projects. Any guidance you can provide is appreciated!

Thank you in advance for your help,

Ben
