Another update:
David Fullerton wrote:We've added a decay factor to commitment votes on Area 51. This applies only to the Commitment Score portion. Basically, the older a vote is, the more it decays. This is very gradual: something like 10% over 6 months. If a user is very committed, they can "renew" their vote every few weeks by uncommitting and recommitting.
Be sure to "renew" your commitment every few months!

For example, my "renewal" brought our commitment score down to 18%, and then up to 20%!

Hey guys,
Sorry to post on an almost dead topic but...
What if we just created a google site with a huge Lego Robotics information database?

Nope. You want a Wiki? A few for Lego Mindstorms already exist - contribute to them, if you want.

The point of StackExchange is Questions and Answers - and it's the best I've ever seen at it.

This is StackExchange:

This sounds like http://www.mindboards.net!
It is a very good website that has lots of information on NXT. :lol:

No, MindBoards is purely forum. I can't edit your posts, and neither can you mine. (Admins/Mods don't count.) It's not anything like Reddit, either. The blog factor is pretty low.

Maybe we should go on a mass advertising spree? :D

How to help

@Bloggers:
Advertise on your blogs!

Here's the anti-AdBlock image (AdBlock isn't letting me see it):

No matter how many people visit your blog, be it once a year [!!] or a thousand a day [!!!], add it to your blog!

@LEGO:
Maybe we should ask LEGO to add a [non-referral] link to the LEGO Mindstorms Robotics proposal on their Mindstorms homepage?

Sorry but I don't think LEGO will go for that knowing how most companies work. Plus LEGO would need permission to use StackExchange on their site because I'm pretty sure it's trademarked.

I didn't mean that LEGO host StackExchange - you can't do that anymore in SE 2.0. What I meant was, to simply provide a link to the Mindstorms StackExchange proposal.

I think he means that there might be problems mentioning StackExchange on lego.com
I'm not sure of the legalities in this
