Hello, It's me again...

I am in the process of creating a project call 'BlockKraft'. It is sort
of an NXT port of Minecraft using the small graphics library
built in to the enhanced FW. The game will have a built-in level generator with randomizers just like Minecraft Beta!

My Minecraft Stats:
Username: DudmasterDJ
Singleplayer: Completed all Achievements.

Features (Red = Will be added, Blue = might be added, Orange = don't really care. Vote.)
  • Crafting
  • Mines/Tunnels
  • Destroy / Build Blocks
  • Secret Easter Eggs and Hacks! 8-)
Well... This is going to be massive. It will allow multiplayer joins in future versions.
4 players at a time can play in one server. The NXTs will automatically search and find each other,
so no advanced knowledge is required. Just run 'em on all NXTs and they'll join when you
press the button.

Hope you all enjoy, Dud.

Hey!!! Thats what I'm doing!!!!
Well, I guess we'll compete.
Mine is called The Knight.
You can break blocks and it will put them in your inventory then you can place them somewhere else in my game. My game already has a ton of blocks. Its 2d (of course).

You do realize that the NXT can only handle 20 3d boxes at a time.

Yeah, but you get a whole 3x3x2 world to play in! ;)

Do you mean real-time rendering at 10-fps (hardware limitation), or are there a limited number of GUIDs (software limitation)?

If I were to guess, then I would say he's using NXC for this. He has used NXC for all of his past projects, and this whole idea for the program sounds WAY to complex to be programed in NXT-G. So I would be surprised if he were not using NXC.

I don't think that hardly anyone programs in NXT-G anymore, but this project could be made with ROBOT C, LeJOS NXJ or NBC. (It does seem likely that NXC would be best)

Yep. Well, almost nobody HERE uses NXT-G anymore, almost everyone on LEGO.com uses NXT-G. But a lot of the new guys here who are fresh from the NXTLOG, (like themindstormman) are in the habbit of using NXT-G, but then learn NXC after arriving here.
