a printer for the NXT brick?

hi folks,
thinking about my huge data set for speech recognition I thought it must be fine to have a printer by which I can list that chunk.
What do you think- will it be possible to have a printer (maybe by BT) which works with NXT and NXC?

Not unless the printer uses the BT serial port profile, the NXT simply can't deal with anything else.
Lots of info here:

Found this 'stamp serial printer module' on ebay -
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/STAMP-Serial-Prin ... 45eca86d32
"The serial printer module allows the Stamp to print directly via the serout command- without the need for a computer. This is primarily used for data logging or monitoring results. It is generally envisaged that the module will be used with older dot-matrix type printers (old BBC printers are ideal!) Firmware is embedded on a 16C620A - 04/P It can also be used with modern inkjets and laser printers. (Including instructions)"
Has what looks like a 25 pin serial port on it and 10 input pins. If it works on modern printers it would be worth the £4.50 asking price, even if it is limited to text only (my guess). Using a serial - usb cable perhaps?
