Is it good?
Is it worth the money?
Is it available in the US?
How fast is it (can I use it to identify trains)?
How flexible is it?
How big are the tags?
Are the tags LEGOfied?
What languages/firmware support it?
And anything else you want to add...

It is a quality device.

Is it worth the money? Only you can answer that... It depends on your use.
How fast is it (can I use it to identify trains)? I'm not sure it would reliably read a tag on a train.
How flexible is it? Well, you can program it to do just about what you want.
How big are the tags? There are a couple types of RFID tags. The smaller ones are about 3 studs (circle) by 1 stud thick.
Are the tags LEGOfied? Not really. But it's not that hard to mound them.
What languages/firmware support it? It uses I2C, so it should work with any NXT language.
Is it available in the US? I bought a bunch of these, and have been selling them with my PSumo software.

They work very well for this. I normally sell them in packages of 2, but would be willing to sell just one, if you want.

I knew that would be the answer on the money :D
Would you be able to build a quick test to see if there is a reasonable upper speed limit on tag detection?
