I made this bot. It is disguised as a present and hides behind a genuine present When that is moved, it pops out and plays a tune

If you can get it to connect with your XL HD Speakers to start playing "I Gotta Feeling"* at max volume... :twisted:

WARNING: MAJOR RANT:
*Which is a terrible song by the way. Even analyzing the sound file (using a very advanced algorithm, which I posted a small sample of below) can prove that it was optimized to sound good to people who forgot to put their brains inside** their heads. The BEPB&J*** proved this by naming the song "I Gotta Feeling" when any English teacher on earth could tell you it's: "I've Got a Feeling"... which is precisely what the Beatles did, since they're actually intelligent. (I like Eleanor Rigby the best.)
**Not that that'll do them any good... For them brain==no_brain. :lol: :lol:

Code: Select all

if(strcmp(filename, "I Gotta Feeling.mp3") == 0)
    printf("Terrible song.");
else if(strcmp(artist, "Green Day") == 0)
    printf("Good.");
else if(strcmp(genre, "Classical") == 0)
    printf("The best.");
else
    printf("Not sure.");
***Insulting the Black Eyed Peanut Butter and Jellyfishes is fun...

Not a bad robot, but it looks like the NXT, the motor, and the color sensor are just kinda stuffed in there haphazardly. You could improve on that. And you could put it in a box that's bigger, because it was already partially opened which made it obvious that there was something in there. And the ultrasonic sensor is protruding too far out, which really, altogether, defeats the element of surprise.
