NXC: Mindsensor 8 channel servo - Servo blocks

Hi,

I allready posted my problem on the Mindsensors forum last year - without any response.
Maybe You guys can give me a hint?

I´m using a pair of HITEC HS-5585 MH Servos to to lift a 300g can. The robot arm is 25cm long and the servos have a
stall torque of 14 kg.cm. Tests of the strength of the construction with a HITEC digital servo programmer show that
it can definitely handle the weight.

But when I run a NXC program using the original mindsensors library for the NXTServo-v3 the arm blocks as if it´s overloaded.
It tries to lift the can several times but to no avail.
It seems like there is some kind of overload-protection included.
I even switched it off using the (HPP-21) Hitec servo programmer.
But still the servos stop their movement if there is more to lift than the construction itself.
It seems like they are restricting their own power for some reason...

Has anybody in here encountered the same problem or has any idea how to solve it?
Is there another possibility to disable all kinds of overload-protections?

Thanks in advance

I just wanted to let You all know, that I solved the problem.
The reason for those blocked servos was my power supply.
Yesterday I powered the 8 channel with an 3s Lipo (1200 mAh, 5A max.)
and the arm worked!!
