Santa Downloaded Software

Without modifying this software after downloading it doesn't work completely for us.
If we select inside the loop to move Rudolph's legs then they move. Otherwise only the song plays twice.
Do you think this could be a problem with the construction or wiring?
Thanks.

What model are you referring to? Where did you download it? All of Santa's Psychic elves are busy making toys for the upcoming season, so please elaborate on your problem so the regular humans can help you.

Regards,
Xander

Are you talking about the NXTPrograms Santa and Rudolph? If you are, are you using the included program? We need to know a bit more to be helpful...

Thank you for responding. Yes, it is NXTPROGRAMS.COM santa and rudolph. We are using Game Maker 8 Lite. The santa and rudolph appear to be assembled correctly. Students have downloaded dozens of the projects on the web site and executed most of them successfully. With this santa and rudolph only the jingle bells plays unless the rudolph leg movement loop is selected right before download, then and only then do the legs move. But then the jingle bells doesn't play. We can't figure it out. We haven't made any changes to the program. How can we get the whole program to work at once? We are selecting the lower left download button but have tried the other download options too.
Thank you for your help.

The program is only supposed to play the song twice, so that is part of the design. Which download button are you using? Try clicking somewhere blank in the program to de-select anything that might be selected and then use the middle "Download and play" button. I'm thinking that whoever is programming the NXT might be clicking the "Download and run selected" button instead. Or, you could just click the "Download" button and start the program from the NXT, that would remove any doubt of it being this.
"Download and run" button.
"Download and run" button.

-EDIT- Sorry, picture comment should say "Download and play" (although "run" does seem to make more sense). And, next time I should use BMP or PNG so the JPG artifacts don't show up...
