I doubt it. I can't even download files from SourceForge using IE8! (And that's the best they have to offer!)
I only ever use IE to download another browser.
muntoo wrote:Chrome doesn't need a search bar. In fact, I've done my best to integrate Firefox's search bar into one long 'Awesome Bar'. (Every browser has their own name for the Address Bar. Chrome's is 'Omnibox'. :)) You just type your keywords into the address bar, and it searches for you - what more do you want?
Chrome's search is the best! The separate ones keep your keyword in the search. :| (And who want's to search with Bing? :( )
The only trouble with Chrome is the bookmark bar is hidden when you first start it up, but that is easily fixed. :D

I have used the same FF "profile" for soo long i barely have to type a word in the awesomebar to get to a commninly visited site.
Plus, i can just "add a keyword" for searches so i can type "g(oogle) <foobar>" "addon <xyz>", etc

IE9 is better security wise than Safari.

I use Neat Bookmarks. One of my few complaints is lack of a bookmarks sidebar - that was one thing IE (and then FF) had right. I'm not alone, of course.

Another thing is that extensions can't change the way the browser works - unlike Firefox Add-ons.

The Chrome Team is working on Tab Management for Chrome, to compete with Firefox's Panorama (which I like, although the inability to pin them is annoying).

A complaint for Firefox: A Private Browsing Mode Window should be able to function alongside a Normal Window, like in Chrome.

File a bug.

Hmmm... Looks like there's an add-on to fix this. But it really should be integrated into the browser. I'll file a bug later.

EDIT: I did, and it was one of the 10+ duplicates of this. :)

It looks like some people agree with you about Chrome. Try SRWare Iron. It deals with many of the sercurity issues, but still has Chrome's fatastic look + features. (It is based on the open-source Chrominim.)
