You know that annoying page that comes up whenever you create or edit a post? It lasts for a few seconds unless you click the "View your submitted message" option. Very annoying.

How can I get rid of it? I cannot find an option in the User Control Panel.
Close your eyes for 5 seconds while you wait the annoying message to disappear.

It's a hosted board, as I've mentioned before, this implies no tweakability in terms of functionality. It also means little or no maintenance and I like that.

You could create a user-JavaScript which automatically redirects when such a page loads. I think it is just a timed HTML redirect, so you might be able to look for the tag in the header and do it instantly if it is found.

I am sure the time you have spent so far writing about this, thinking about and possible trying to come up with solutions has more than added up to all those seconds you have waited so far and will do for the next foreseeable future.

I would have tried writing it, if it it wasn't because I was busy rewriting GIMP... Well, I should be done with that around the Christmas holidays, so I might give it a go by then...
