Re: Help making my first sensor
Thanks for all that. I don't like them because I've seen people say, and in my experience, that they aren't the highest quality and don't perform that well. Maybe I'm wrong, but they're just not working for me.

Help making my first sensor
Hey guys, how's it going? So, back from my "break" (aka Minecraft addiction  ) and I'm making robots again. Gonna make a sensor for the NXT! Well, not really make a sensor. Use a generally available sensor board with the NXT. ;) To the point, I don't have much of an idea of where to ...

Re: NXT vs RCX software
Yes, they are most definitely different. You'll need a different software for both unless you plan on using BricxCC or an older version of RobotC. Be aware, you won't be able to use a USB tower with a 64-bit OS, only 32-bit. I've heard that some people have had success using a serial-USB adapter wit...

Re: Self balancing motor bike
I'd not suggest LDD... It's just frustrating. I use the LDraw library of parts, and it's asscociated designing tools. It does have a steeper learning curve, and may take longer to make models in, but the end result is much nicer than LDD and gives you many more options like making instructions that ...

Re: Enchanting
I downloaded it once. Never really used it. I'd suggest RobotC or NXC if you want to move away from NXT-G. RobotC has a cost, but NXC is free.
