Re: Starting my own company, how realistic is this?
I think aswin0 is right. I mean, heck, I'm a highschooler, and I have started a mini-business and want to do tons of robotics projects and am trying to develop a game, and sometimes, I think I'm not commiting enough time to each one of these things. But then I have to think to myself "I'm a hig...

Re: Bluetooth Message Control
Ah, yes, I should probably check with a counter. I'll do that when I can get back to my robots. I think I may just use the lines from http://www.robotc.net/support/nxt/MindstormsWebHelp/index.htm#page=Bluetooth/robotc_messaging/ROBOTC%20Bluetooth%20Messaging.htm This will be more manual, but will pr...

Re: Bluetooth Message Control
So, I've looked into my code to check if what you said was happening, and I can't seem to find anything wrong. However, I do know you must be write somewhere, as the debug stream does show messages being received. Whether it is due to the clone actually receiving a bunch of messages or if the clone ...

Bluetooth Message Control
So, I've been working on a simple project where one robot, using and ultrasonic sensor, completes a simple maze and records its encoder values of its right wheel. Every time it stops and turns, it sends to messages: 1 for how far it moved forward, and one for how much it turned, left or right. I'm h...

Re: Setting up DI Wifi Sensor --Problems
Thanks for the update.
You guys are awesome. Thanks for putting a lot of work into this. I'll be sure to know this code like the back of my hand before I come back with any problems.
Anyway, now I can try and get back to my project.
Thanks again for all the help!

Re: Setting up DI Wifi Sensor --Problems
Interesting. Well then, I'll cross my fingers and hope for this week, while counting my lucky stars, of course. But for in the meanwhile, I'll continue with different aspects of my swarm project. Thanks for the help and info, Xander and mattallen37. BTW mattallen37, I've added your blog to my list o...

Re: Setting up DI Wifi Sensor --Problems
Good to hear it is not just me.
Do you know about when this problem will be fixed?
Oh, and are you still using 1.2.1r4 for the NXC version? Because if you are, then my using 1.2.1r5 shouldn't be making a difference.

Re: Setting up DI Wifi Sensor --Problems
Yes, Xander. My NXT is uploaded with 1.31 enhanced library provided by Mark Crosbie on his website. However, I also went ahead and used BricxCC with the 1.2.1r5 version. Do you think using the latest version instead of the 1.2.1r4 Crosbie used is creating the problem? UPDATE: I tried it with another...

Setting up DI Wifi Sensor --Problems
Hi guys. So, I am starting on a swarm robotics project utilizing the DI Wifi Sensor. I can't type up all the specifics; visit my blog, http://robosavvy.blogspot.com/ , for the details. The background of the problem, however, I must explain. I started using http://www.mastincrosbie.com/Marks_LEGO_pro...

Re: Welcome to Mindboards
Hooray! Nice to see a someone pick up on the nxtasy stuff. I used to go to nxtasy for all my software needs. Glad I followed the NXTStep blog to mindboards. Cool name too. As for any projects, I just got myself a NXTcam v3, wanna tinker with that a little. Joined an FTC team too, and I'm hoping any ...
